Završni turnir najelitnijeg evropskog takmičenja, Evrolige, ponovo će se održati u prestonici Grčke 2020. godine, 13 godina nakon što je PAO po četvrti put postao šampion Evrope u OAKA areni, prenosi specijalizovani košarkaški portal „Eurohoops“.
Beograd je ove godine u Štark Areni ugostio četiri najbolja evropska kluba, dok će tu čast za tekuću sezonu imati španska Vitorija, odnosno dom košarkaša Baskonije Fernando Buesa Arena, a kako prenose brojni grčki mediji, Fajnal for Evrolige 2020. godine organizovaće Atina.
Mečevi bi trebalo da se igraju u dvorani OAKA „Nikos Galis“, gde je održan i prethodni F4 Evrolige 2007. godine kada je Panatinaikos, predvođen Željkom Obradovićem, stigao do četvrte titule šampiona Evrope nakon što je u finalu savladao moskovski CSKA (93:91). U redovima grčkog tima nalazili su se i Miloš Vujanić i Dejan Tomašević.
KLADI SE NA MEČEVE U EVROLIGI!
„Eurohoops“ navodi da je odluka već doneta, kao i da bi Evroliga istu uskoro trebalo da saopšti zajednom sa grčkim ministrom sporta Jorgosom Vasilijadisom.
Na poslednjem završnom turniru Evrolige u Atini, pored Panatinaikosa i CSKA, učestvovali su i Unikaha i tadašnja TAU Keramika čiji dres je nosio Igor Rakočević. Inače, Partizan je te sezone stigao do Top 16 faze, a u novoformiranoj grupi je završio kao trećeplasirani (3-3), uz pobedu manje od Olimpijakosa.
Fenerbahče je trenutno lider sa 13 pobeda i samo jednim porazom, prati ga madridski Real sa učinkom 12-2, dok je CSKA trećeplasirani sa 11-3. Anadolu Efes i Olimpijakos imaju po 9-5, Žalgiris ima polovičan skor (7-7), baš kao i Armani Milano, minhenski Bajern i Barselona.
